Roll Forming Rapid Konvert Side Roll
Roll-Kraft’s latest generation of the
Ardcor Roll Forming Rapid Konvert Side Roll stand is specifically designed for “panel”
style
Roll
Forming Machines. This side roll stand requires
no adjustment when making a width change and will greatly
reduce changeover time from previous versions.
The
unique design incorporates two separate bases: one mounting
to the inboard panel, and the other mounting to the outboard
panel of the
Roll
Forming Mill, while sharing common vertical and
horizontal adjustment screws. The operator simply opens or
closes the panels of the roll former and the stand maintains
the proper position.
Not only does this stand solve the problem of manually
adjusting the outboard side roll when making a width change,
it can also be independently adjusted using the fine-tuning
feature for asymmetrical profiles. The addition of digital
readouts aids in fast and repeatable setups.

Near Drop-In Replacement
– Although you must drill and tap holes
in the mill base to mount the new
stands, they are designed to fit within
most F-10 panel mill applications.
(Note: Some models of F-10 outboard
castings may require a small amount of
machining. It can be modified for use
with other OEM brands of panel style
machines).

Adjustability – One
common screw adjusts the horizontal
position of both side rolls relative to
the centerline of the mill.
- Height
Adjustability – One
common screw adjusts the vertical
position of both side rolls.
- Digital
Readouts – Both the
horizontal and vertical locations of the
side rolls are displayed on the
counters, allowing for quick, accurate,
and repeatable setups.
- Fine-Tuning
– If the application requires individual
lateral location of the rolls (for
asymmetrical profiles), fine-tuning
sleeves are provided, allowing each roll
to adjust independently.
